Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. linguine
  • 1 package frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 to 1½ sticks butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, chopped small
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil the linguine for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir and boil for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. While the pasta cooks, melt 1 to 1½ sticks of butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh garlic to the butter and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add the frozen chopped broccoli to the skillet and cook until heated through.
  6. Drain the cooked linguine and add it to the skillet with the broccoli and garlic.
  7. Toss to combine, then sprinkle with ½ cup of Parmesan cheese and serve.
