- Boil the linguine for 10 minutes.
- Stir and boil for an additional 2 minutes.
- While the pasta cooks, melt 1 to 1½ sticks of butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium heat.

- Add the frozen chopped broccoli to the skillet and cook until heated through.
- Drain the cooked linguine and add it to the skillet with the broccoli and garlic.
- Toss to combine, then sprinkle with ½ cup of Parmesan cheese and serve.
