Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dry linguine
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 6 cups tiny tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups fresh basil
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, sauté garlic, red pepper, and chopped onion in olive oil until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the halved tomatoes and basil to the skillet and stir gently for 2 minutes.
  4. Drain the cooked linguine and pour it into the skillet with the tomato mixture, tossing to combine.
  5. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
