Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. warm water
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 anchovy fillets, finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. caraway seeds
  • dash of ground white pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. capers (optional)
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix instant minced onion and dry mustard with 2 tablespoons of warm water and let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cream the softened butter and add the softened cream cheese, blending well.
  3. Add the onion and mustard mixture, minced anchovies, capers (if desired), caraway seeds, and white pepper.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Pack into 2 glass cups and chill until firm.
  6. When serving, sprinkle with paprika and parsley flakes.
