Ingredients

  • 1 fryer, boiled and boned
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans mixed vegetables, do not drain
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup, do not dilute
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, do not dilute
  • 1 can cream of celery soup, do not dilute
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can sweet peas (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the cooked, boned chicken cut into bite-sized pieces in the bottom of a large casserole dish (9 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches or larger).
  2. Mix the cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, and cream of celery soups with chicken broth and the mixed vegetables (do not drain) and pour over the chicken.
  3. Heat the mixture together until well combined; it may be runny.
  4. Prepare the crust according to your preferred method or recipe.
  5. Add the crust over the hot mixture and bake until golden and bubbly.
