Lisa'S Vegetable Chowder

Instructions
- Saute vegetables in butter with thyme and bay leaves until tender (approximately 10 minutes).
- Add chicken broth; simmer 45 minutes.
- Remove bay leaves.
- Remove 2 1/2 cups and puree in blender.
- Hold hand firmly on top of blender when blender is turned on or let the 2 1/2 cups of the mixture cool down!
- Enjoy.
