Little Pizzas are bite-sized delights that blend the bold flavors of hot and mild sausage with creamy Velveeta cheese. Topped with savory pizza sauce, they make a perfect party appetizer or snack that pleases both kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • garlic salt to taste
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • 2 loaves party rye bread
  • 1 jar pizza sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook sausages; drain well.
  2. Mix all other ingredients together until cheese melts.
  3. Put about 1 spoon of mixture on 1 slice of bread.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon pizza sauce on top.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese.
  6. Freeze on cookie sheet.
  7. Put in bags to keep frozen until needed.
  8. Take out of freezer, put on cookie sheet and heat at 400° for 10 minutes.
