Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb pork liver
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/4 cup liquid (from cooking liver)
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal

Instructions

  1. Cook pork liver in water to cover for 20 minutes and save the liquid.
  2. Grind the cooked liver, bacon, and onion together.
  3. Add beaten eggs, salt, pepper, liquid, and oatmeal to the ground mixture and mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until cooked through.
