- Put liver and fat through meat grinder about 5 times.
- In a medium skillet, melt butter and add flour to blend.
- Add milk and cook until smooth.
- Add this sauce to liver mixture.
- Add eggs, chopped onion and spices.
- Beat mixture well.
- Bake in a loaf pan set in a pan of shallow water for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°. Cool and serve on rye bread or crackers.
