Loaded fried potatoes feature crispy fried potatoes topped with bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and a dollop of sour cream, making a hearty, cheesy comfort dish perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 potatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 16 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 to 8 pieces bacon

Instructions

  1. Fry the potatoes until golden and drain well.
  2. Place the fried potatoes in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  3. Crumble cooked bacon on top of the potatoes.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the bacon.
  5. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven until the cheese is melted, about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Top with sour cream before serving.
