Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a medium saucepan until crisp.
  2. Drain bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings.
  3. Crumble bacon and set aside.
  4. Cook onions in the reserved drippings until tender.
  5. Add cream of potato soup, milk, and undrained minced clams to the saucepan.
  6. Simmer uncovered for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add crumbled bacon and garnish with paprika before serving.
