- Add water and salt to the pot with green beans.
- Bring to a boil and cook for about 2 hours or until tender.

- Add minced fresh garlic and shredded fresh basil to the skillet.
- Add the red potatoes and cook until they are tender and coated with the basil and garlic mixture.
- Cook bacon slices until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
