Ingredients

  • 1 lb. salt pork
  • black pepper
  • 2 c. hot water
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Slice the salt pork.
  2. Add the pork to hot water and let stand for a while or overnight.
  3. Drain the pork well.
  4. Sprinkle the pork with black pepper.
  5. Dredge the pork in flour.
  6. Fry slowly in a greased skillet until golden brown.
  7. Serve with biscuits.
