Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 30 small crackers
  • 2 cups lump crab meat
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Sauté and brown the chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped bell pepper in 2 tablespoons of margarine.
  2. Make crumbs from the crackers and add half of the crumbs to the sautéed mixture.
  3. Add the lump crab meat and mix well.
  4. Place the mixture in a covered casserole dish.
  5. Thirty minutes before serving, pour the milk over the crab mixture.
  6. Top with the remaining cracker crumbs.
  7. Drizzle melted margarine over all.
  8. Bake at 350°F, covered, for 30 minutes.
