Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups plus 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups M & M plain candies

Instructions

  1. Blend Crisco and sugars until well combined.
  2. Beat in vanilla, water, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Sift together the all-purpose flour, soda, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing well.
  4. Stir in the M & M candies.
  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
