Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup finely chopped Macadamia nuts
  • 1 (7 to 8 oz.) milk chocolate bar, grated

Instructions

  1. Butter an 8 x 8-inch pan.
  2. Place half the nuts in the pan and sprinkle half of the grated chocolate over the nuts.
  3. Combine butter and sugar in a heavy pan.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until mixture is the color of peanut butter, about 290°F.
  5. Remove from heat and immediately pour over the chocolate in the pan.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate and then nuts.
  7. Press nuts firmly into the chocolate.
  8. Cool and then break into pieces.
