Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add vanilla and water; beat until combined.
  3. On low speed, beat in flour until combined and moistened.
  4. Fold in chopped macadamia nuts.
  5. Shape the mixture into balls using 1 tablespoon for each.
  6. Refrigerate the balls for 2 to 3 hours.
  7. Place the balls on ungreased cookie sheets about 1 inch apart.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool, then dust with remaining powdered sugar.
