Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 3 1/3 c. hot water
  • pinch of garlic
  • pinch of onion
  • 1 pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 pkg. uncooked macaroni

Instructions

  1. In a 10-inch skillet, brown the ground beef.
  2. When browned, drain all grease.
  3. Stir in uncooked macaroni, hot water, garlic, onion, Cheddar cheese, and buttermilk.
  4. Heat to a boiling, stirring occasionally.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Uncover and cook until desired consistency.
