Instructions
- Fry the bacon until crispy.
- Set aside.
- In a separate pot melt the butter.
- Add the flour and stir.
- Add the milk a little bit and the time.
- Keep stirring to remove all the lumps.
- You can add water to make more sauce.
- Add flour if you need to thicken.
- Cook the maccaroni.
- When satisfied that you have enough sauce add about 3/4 of the grated cheese.
- Mix the drained pasta, fried bacon and about 3/4 of the cheese sauce and put it into your chosen oven dish.
- Cover the top of the pasta with the remainder of the white sauce and grated cheese.
- Put in the oven at 200C for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is nicely melted.
