Ingredients

  • 1/2 red cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. brown mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 8 packets Equal (NutraSweet)

Instructions

  1. Shred the red cabbage very finely.
  2. Mash the garlic and salt together.
  3. Add black pepper and mash again.
  4. Mix in the brown mustard, vinegar, white wine, lemon juice, olive oil, and sweetener.
  5. Pour the dressing over the shredded cabbage.
  6. Toss to combine thoroughly.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  8. This mixture will keep 5 to 6 days or more and improves each day.
