Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/3 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp. rum flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 pt. whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg until foamy in the top of a double boiler; stir in the condensed milk.
  2. Cook over hot, not boiling, water for 10 minutes. Stir in the rum flavoring and nutmeg; fold in the whipped cream.
  3. Serve hot or cold over fruitcake or ice cream.
