Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slices Armour beef in a jar
  • 8 bacon strips, partly fried
  • 10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbsp. sherry
  • 16 oz. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Wrap each chicken breast in a slice of Armour beef and top with partly fried bacon strips.
  2. Place the wrapped chicken breasts in a shallow pan.
  3. Combine cream of chicken soup, sherry, and sour cream in a bowl.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts.
  5. Cover the pan with foil.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 1.5 hours.
  7. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
