Make ahead meatballs are flavorful, tender bites perfect for serving at gatherings or family dinners. They are easily prepared in advance and baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 4 pounds lean ground beef

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat eggs and add bread crumbs, chopped onions, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and white pepper.
  2. Add ground beef and mix until well combined.
  3. Pat the mixture into a rectangle on a baking sheet and score into 1-inch squares.
  4. Form the scored sections into individual meatballs.
  5. Bake in a 400°F (200°C) oven for 10 to 15 minutes, turning often, until cooked through.
  6. Allow meatballs to cool before storing or serving.
  7. Place about 30 meatballs per batch for serving or further use.
