Make Ahead Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 qt. spaghetti sauce
  • 1 to 2 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 lb. sausage

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti and drain.
  2. Mix with eggs, butter and Parmesan cheese while spaghetti is still hot.
  3. Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Add layer of cottage cheese.
  5. Brown meats and drain.
  6. Mix meats with spaghetti sauce.
  7. Pour meat sauce into pan.
  8. Top with Mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for a few hours).
  10. Bake at 350°, covered, for 30 minutes and uncovered for 30 minutes.
  11. Serves 8.
