Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 9 bananas

Instructions

  1. Mash the 9 bananas in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add eggs, salt, softened butter, sugar, and baking soda to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  3. Gradually add the flour last, mixing until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the banana bread to cool before removing from the pan and slicing.
