Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and milk in a saucepan and cook until thick.
  2. Cover and refrigerate until cooled.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the shortening, sugar, vanilla, and melted margarine until thick and creamy.
  4. Add the chilled milk and flour mixture from the refrigerator and whip for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Spread over cooled cake.
