Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 (8 oz.) bar white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the margarine until smooth.
  3. Add sugar and mix well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla and cocoa powder until well combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  8. Stir in chocolate chips, chopped white chocolate, and chopped walnuts.
  9. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto a greased or parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  10. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, cookies will be soft and appear undercooked.
  11. Allow cookies to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
