Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 heaping tablespoons flour
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup coconut
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Beat egg yolks and add a little milk.
  2. Combine flour and sugar; add gradually to eggs.
  3. Add remaining milk and coconut; cook until thick (medium heat on stove or microwave).
  4. Remove from heat; add vanilla and margarine.
