Ingredients

  • 1 gal. green mangoes, peeled and cut in halves
  • 6 c. water
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 4 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. Hawaiian salt
  • 2 Tbsp. red coloring

Instructions

  1. Boil all ingredients except the mangoes.
  2. Allow the mixture to cool.
  3. Add the peeled and halved green mangoes to the cooled mixture.
  4. Store the mango pickles in jars and refrigerate.
