Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. grated peeled ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 4 6 oz. salmon fillet
  • 1 green onion, sliced thin

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, grated ginger, cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon of water until blended.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin side down in a shallow 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Spoon the glaze over the salmon and roast for 15 minutes, without turning, until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  5. Baste the salmon once halfway through cooking.
  6. Sprinkle sliced green onion over the salmon before serving.
