Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup melted oleo
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Crisco salad oil
  • 1 package German sweet chocolate
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons cake mix

Instructions

  1. Mix the cake mix (minus 4 teaspoons), vanilla pudding, melted oleo, eggs, sour cream, and salad oil until well blended, about 5 minutes.
  2. Melt the sweet chocolate with the 4 teaspoons of sugar and the 4 teaspoons of cake mix until smooth.
  3. Drip and swirl the melted chocolate mixture through the batter in two layers in an angel food or long pan to create a marbled effect.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool before serving; no icing is required.
