Ingredients

  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 to 4 ribs celery, cut fine
  • 1 lb. ground round steak
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 package egg noodles, cooked as directed on package

Instructions

  1. Saute onion, green pepper, and celery in 3 tablespoons of butter; remove from pan.
  2. Brown the ground round steak.
  3. Mix the cooked vegetables and browned steak together in a baking dish.
  4. Add the can of tomato soup and water; stir to combine.
  5. Add cooked egg noodles to the mixture.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes.
