Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 yellow squash
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 slices bread, browned in butter, cubed
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. cubed Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Cook squash until soft along with celery and onion.
  2. Drain; mix bread, milk, butter, egg and cheese with squash, celery and onion. Put topping on and bake 30 minutes at 350°.
