Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 carrots
  • 2 c. water
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the carrots.
  2. Place the carrots in a saucepan with water and a dash of salt.
  3. Cook on medium heat until the carrots are almost done.
  4. Add brown sugar, butter, and ginger to the saucepan.
  5. Simmer until most of the liquid is gone and the carrots are glazed.
  6. Serve hot.
