  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the topping by mixing the softened butter with the light brown sugar in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Continue to boil and stir for 1 minute.
  4. Pour the cooked butter-sugar mixture over the crust.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 20 minutes, or until the crust is lightly browned and the topping is bubbly.
  6. Sprinkle with pecan halves.
