- Butter a 9 x 9-inch square pan.
- Spread chopped pecans evenly in the prepared pan.
- In a saucepan, heat brown sugar and butter to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Boil over medium heat for 7 minutes.
- Pour the hot sugar-butter mixture over the pecans in the pan.
- Break the milk chocolate bar into pieces and place over the hot mixture so it melts.
- Allow the candy to chill until firm, then cut into squares.
