Marinated Barbecued Chops

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 lb. venison chops, loins or steaks

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey and vinegar.
  2. Blend in garlic powder and ginger.
  3. Add oil and onion.
  4. Place meat in plastic food bag. Pour marinade over the top. Close bag. Refrigerate 4 hours or longer, turning every hour.
  5. Drain meat. Grill to desired taste, basting occasionally, with marinade. Serves 4.
  6. (Can use roast also.)
