Marinated Beef Strips

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cooked roast beef, thin sliced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 onions
  • 2 c. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cut the cooked roast beef into thin strips. Slice the onions thinly and separate into rings.
  2. Combine the beef, onions, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice and stir in the sour cream.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Serve the chilled beef mixture on a lettuce-lined dish with slices of rye bread.
