Ingredients

  • 5 oz. soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar or honey, lemon juice, bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, and water together.
  2. Pour the marinade over the roast and marinate for at least 6 hours, turning after 3 hours.
  3. Charcoal broil the roast, which takes approximately 30 minutes per side for chuck.
