A sweet, chewy marshmallow loaf with nuts, dates, and graham cracker crumbs, chilled to perfection. Perfect as a no-bake treat or dessert for gatherings and casual occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. (32) marshmallows
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c. chopped nut meats
  • 1/2 c. pitted dates

Instructions

  1. Cut marshmallows into quarters and pour water over them.
  2. Add Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk, chopped nut meats, chopped dates, and graham cracker crumbs. Blend thoroughly.
  3. Form the mixture into a roll or loaf about 6 inches long and 3 inches in diameter.
  4. Wrap in wax paper.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 12 hours or longer.
  6. To serve, cut into slices.
  7. May be garnished with whipped cream.
