Marshmallowed Sweet Potatoes
A warm, sweet casserole combining tender sweet potatoes, tart apples, cinnamon, and gooey marshmallows, perfect for holiday dinners or comforting family meals.

Instructions
- Place half of the sweet potatoes in the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch casserole dish.
- Dot with half of the margarine and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon.
- Layer with half of the sliced or canned apples.
- Repeat the layers with remaining sweet potatoes, margarine, cinnamon, and apples.
- Top with a bag of large marshmallows.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes, until marshmallows are golden.
- Be careful, marshmallows scorch easily!
- This dish doubles well and can be prepared a day ahead if canned apples are used.
- Great served with ham, turkey, or roast beef.
