Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Carnation milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 stick melted oleo
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold them into the mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into an uncooked pie crust.
  4. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 10 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to 350°F and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes.
  6. Do not overcook.
