- Cream shortening and sugar together.
- Add boiling water and let cool.
- Beat eggs and add to the cooled mixture.
- Dissolve yeast in warm water, then add to the mixture.
- Work in salt and flour, then cover and let rise in a warm place for 2 hours.
- Work down the dough, roll out, and cut like biscuits.
- Place in a lightly greased pan and let rise for 1 hour.
- Bake at 350°F until brown.
