Ma'S Chili
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or skinless ground turkey ⓘ
- 1 medium onion ⓘ
- 1/2 c. celery ⓘ
- green pepper (optional) ⓘ
- parsley flakes (about 1 Tbsp.) ⓘ
- 3 cans kidney beans ⓘ
- 1 small can whole tomatoes, cut up or fresh tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 small can tomato sauce ⓘ
- salt (optional) and pepper to taste ⓘ
- 2 tsp. chili powder ⓘ
- little bit minced garlic ⓘ
- little bit oregano ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown meat.
- Add onion, celery and pepper.
- Simmer a few minutes. Keep stirring every few minutes as it burns quickly.
- Add all the other ingredients and simmer on low heat about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Taste to see if you have enough seasonings.
