Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 potatoes, cooked and mashed
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 pound butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill leaves
  • 1 package spinach, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine cooked and mashed potatoes with cooked and drained spinach, sour cream, sugar, softened butter, salt, pepper, chopped chives, and dill leaves.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
