Creamy, sweet mashed yam casserole with marshmallow and pecan topping, perfect as a comforting side dish for holidays or family dinners with rich flavors.

Ingredients

  • 6 lb. large yams
  • 9 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 3/4 c. Marshmallow Creme
  • 3 large eggs
  • additional Marshmallow Creme

Instructions

  1. Pierce yams all over with a fork and microwave until cooked, then cut in half and scoop pulp into a bowl.
  2. Add Marshmallow Creme, butter, and maple syrup to the yam pulp.
  3. Beat with a mixer until smooth.
  4. Beat in eggs until blended.
  5. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
  6. Transfer to a casserole dish, top with additional Marshmallow Creme and pecan halves if desired.
  7. Bake in the oven until heated through and topping is golden.
