Ingredients

  • 24 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 c. chopped nuts
  • 5 to 7 oz. marshmallow whip
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 can Pet milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped nuts (if using), marshmallow whip, margarine, and vanilla.
  2. In a 3-quart saucepan, combine sugar and canned milk.
  3. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. When mixture boils, continue cooking for 6 minutes.
  4. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and the chips have dissolved.
  5. Pour the mixture into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. Let set for 6 hours or overnight.
  7. Refrigerate well before cutting.
  8. Let stand at room temperature for easy slicing.
