Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 8 oz. drained, frozen spinach
  • 8 oz. cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz. mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package spaghetti mix
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans water
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • pinch of garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Bring 5 quarts of water to a boil.
  2. Add lasagna noodles to boiling water with oil and cook for 12 minutes.
  3. Drain water from noodles and set aside.
  4. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  5. Add spaghetti mix, tomato sauce, and tomato paste to the beef.
  6. Pour in 1/2 cup water and let simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Layer in a baking dish: noodles, meat mixture, cheddar cheese, spinach, repeat layers, ending with noodles and cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 425°F for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
