Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. lean hamburger
  • 2 lb. pork
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cook the hamburger, pork, potatoes, water, onion, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker for 1 hour.
  2. Add garlic, cloves, allspice, poultry seasoning, and cinnamon to the cooked mixture and mix well.
  3. Spoon the filling into two pie crusts, then cover with the top crust.
  4. Brush a little milk on top of the crusts.
  5. Bake in a 425°F oven for 10 minutes.
  6. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes, inserting slits in the top crust.
