Memorable Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsp. horseradish
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Mix thoroughly all ingredients except shortening, soup and water.
  2. Shape firmly into 16 meatballs.
  3. In skillet, brown meatballs in shortening; pour off fat.
  4. Stir in soup and water. Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done.
  5. Stir occasionally.
