Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb margarine
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 (12 oz) can Carnation milk
  • 1 (12 oz) package chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 oz) jar Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 quart pecans
  • vanilla (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put margarine, sugar, and milk into a pan and heat until it comes to a boil.
  2. Boil for 8 minutes (230°F), stirring constantly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate chips and Marshmallow Creme.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the chocolate chips and Marshmallow Creme.
  5. Add vanilla and salt, if desired, and stir until creamy.
  6. Add pecans and mix well.
  7. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper to cool and set.
